Hart of Dixie marks the return of Rachel Bilson to television. You know her as Summer on the FOX hit, The O.C. This time, she's heading over the the CW, but not without bringing some of her O.C. family along, like Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz who created/produced The O.C. and the CW's current hit, Gossip Girl.
Here's what I learned at today's Television Critics Association (TCA) panel, which included Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights), Rachel Bilson (The O.C.), Jaime King (Gary Unmarried), and Leila Gerstein and Len Goldstein, the executive producers of the series.
Former BacheloretteAli Fedotowsky is going to have to wait a little while longer to marry Roberto Martinez, as the reality star reveals the couple has postponed their wedding due to her recent injury.
Back in July, Ali underwent surgery to repair the fractured femur that she suffered during a kickboxing class. Still recovering, the TV news correspondent decided to put her nuptials on hold.
"We had a date set, and that date has now passed," Ali, 26, told People.com. "The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears. But I want to walk down the aisle," she said, "I don't want to limp down the aisle."
Sounds pretty reasonable.
Instead of limping down the aisle on their originally planned wedding day, Ali and Roberto found a way to make the date memorable anyway.
"It was one of the best days we've had, just me and him," Fedotowsky smiled. She says that she and her man are more than confident in their love and don't feel the need to rush a trip to the altar.
"In my mind, Roberto is my husband," she said. "We live together; we do everything together; we plan for the future together; we fight just like a good old married couple. The only thing that's not saying "I'm married" is another ring on my finger and a piece of paper."
Bringing up four children with husband Seal has some hair-raising moments. In an article Heidi Klum has written for The Huffington Post, the model mom dishes on how she cares for her children's locks.
Referring to her youngest kids Henry, 5, Johan, 4, and Lou, 1 1/2, she writes: "Henry, Johan and Lou -- my three youngest -- have super beautiful locks. Their hair definitely requires a different kind of care than my daughter Leni's hair. I've learned to never brush their curly hair when it's dry because then it'll frizz. I use lots of conditioner and detangler, and only go to hairdressers who really KNOW how to cut and style curly hair."
Pairing her silk short suit with towering heels, musical mom Geri Halliwell was the picture of style as she spent the day in London, England with her mom Ana Maria and her daughter Bluebell Madonna, 5 (August 4). The trio stopped off at kids' salon Tantrum on King's Road, where Bluebell got her cute curly locks trimmed.
The former Spice Girl was stopped by several fans along the way, and seemed only too happy to stop and chat, posing for quick pics and signing autographs.

Steve Carell knows a lot about comedy; there's no doubt about it. From his big-screen hits like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Little Miss Sunshine to his popular television series The Office, Carell has proven over and over that he's one funny guy. But what you might not know is that Carell is also something of an expert on marriage, too.
Comedian Jerry Lewis, 85, has completed his half-century run as national chairman of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, according to a press release from the MDA. Lewis has served as chairman since the early 1950s, and the annual Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, hosted by Lewis, has long been a national ritual.
When asked at last week's Television Critics Association tour what his involvement might be in future MDA telethons, Lewis was characteristically blunt. "It's none of your business," he said. "Anything you read, read it twice."
Lewis had announced in May that he would be retiring as host, but he had been slated to appear in September's telethon nonetheless, singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" for the last time.
Now, however, it appears that Lewis' final telethon appearance is no longer in the works. "We will not be replacing him as MDA national chairman," R. Rodney Howell, M.D., chairman of the board for the MDA, says. "And he will not be appearing on the (Labor Day) telethon." Adds Howell, "Jerry Lewis is a world-class humanitarian, and we're forever grateful to him for his more than half century of generous service to MDA."
We believe this is what's called the end of an era.

This morning, Kelly Rowland stopped by 30 Rock to chat with Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb about her career and charity work. Though she appeared on the show to promote her charity work for The Boys & Girls Clob of America, KL & H got her to talk about her album's success, being the face of Sean John's "Empress" fragrance, and rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion.
The "Motivation" singer dismissed the rumors, saying the trio have not talked about reuniting (but didn't deny Mathew Knowles was working on it already himself like he said).
